Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in England, with more than 50 parks, woodland and much of the area lying within the Peak District National Park.

Built on the cutlery, iron and steel industries, Sheffield is a modern industrial city but with plenty to see and do. 
It's also a thriving centre for the arts, with the Lyceum, Studio and Crucible Theatres drawing the crowds. The Crucible is also home to one of the biggest sporting events of the year - the annual Snooker World Championships.
Take a Supertram to Meadowhall, a huge shopping complex with 270 stores.
