This is the opening event for Highland 2007, marking the 'Old New Year' with celebrations throughout the city centre of Inverness.

The guest of honour on this occasion will be the First Minister, Jack McConnel. The Launch itself will include performances from the Inverness Gaelic Choir; Massed Pipe and Drums of the Highlands, breathtakingly spectacular fireworks and much more to create an overall awe-inspiring event: the first of its kind to take to the streets of Inverness.

The Monster Street Party has an incredible performance of aerial ballet from Transe Expresse and will certainly be a night to remember for years to come.
