Bude has been a popular seaside resort since Victorian times.  It has some lovely wide sandy beaches, rock pools and a tidal swimming pool. 

Summerleaze, Widemouth Bay and Crooklets beach are particularly popular with families and surfers, and offer easy access from nearby car parks.  The town also has a good shopping centre and choice of restaurants.
