With Scotland's most extensive ski area at Glenshee there's great fun to be had from December till March (and sometimes even April).

There are around 40km of downhill runs here and 25 lifts which stretch over four mountains and three valleys.

For a more family orientated skiing center try Lecht, which has 20 runs of which seven are green.
