| | | Warwick is a picturesque town with a magnificent medieval castle well worth the visit alone. |
But don't forget to spend some time looking round the art galleries and speciality shops which make this one of the best historic towns to visit. |
| A hidden gem is Mill Garden at the bottom of the cobbled Mill Street, right next to the Warwick Castle entrance. The garden, lovingly tended by the late Arthur Measure, is regularly open to the public with all admission charges going to charity. From the end of the garden you get a spectacular view of the castle. |
| Other visitor attractions include the Doll Museum and St John's House, a museum of social history that has period reconstructions of school and domestic life. |
| If you have time, also take a trip to nearby Bridge End, where the half timbered cottages once marked the main road into Warwick. These days the picturesque olde world feel makes it the place to buy a house. |
