Worcester

Worcester attracts thousands of visitors whenever it plays host to the Three Choirs Festival, one of the oldest arts festivals.

The town has much for tourists to see including the cathedral, a museum about the civil war and the world famous Royal Worcester Porcelain factory where you can see ceramics being produced.

King John is buried in Worcester Cathedral. The monarch, who reigned from 1199 until 1216 died the year after he signed the Magna Carta.

The town was badly affected by flooding of the River Severn in 2000 but has sufficiently recovered.
