Maidenhead
Maidenhead is a pleasant stop during a tour of Berkshire, with pretty river views to enjoy.
The River Thames runs through maidenhead and there are two main bridges - a road bridge and the railway bridge, which boasts the widest and flattest arches in the world.
Go for a walk and admire the Jubilee Clock Tower built to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
Just a couple of minutes from the town is Grenfell Park, which was also donated by Lord Desborough for the Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
Near Maidenhead are villages like Knowl Hill, famous for its' annual steam rally and the pretty village of Cookham.
