Slough
When Sir John Betjeman publish his poem about Slough it caused uproar.
Granted -  "Come friendly bombs and fall on Slough! It isn't fit for human's now " - wasn't exactly the greatest advert for the place.

At one time the town was pretty grim - lots of concrete, roundabouts and industrial estates.

These days efforts are being made to revitalise the place and provide a modern place to live and work.
