The small town of Westbury, in West Wiltshire is more famous for the strange carving on the hill-side just east of the town.
Legend maintains that the Westbury White Horse was created in the 1800s to mark Alfred the Great's victory. Measuring 54.9 metres from head to tail, it was cut from chalk but has in recent years been concreted and painted white in an effort to keep the appearance.
There's a view point at Bratton Road near the cemetery which is ideal for taking photgraphs.
