Altarnun
On the north east edge of Bodmin Moor the village has an impressive 15th century parish church, sometimes described as the "cathedral of the moor". The village acquired its name from the church dedication to St Nonna, hence ‘altar of St Non’.  Nearby in Trewint is Isbell Cottage, used by John Wesley during his preaching tours and now open to the public.
