Poole is home to Europe's largest natural harbour - its stunning and consequently a major attraction here are the water sports.  Its s town with lots of character, this along with the miles of sandy beach make Poole a great destination.   There are five islands that shelter in the huge harbour, one of these is Brownsea Island, a National Trust property famous for its red squirrels, varied bird life and diverse landscape. 

Poole harbour is great place to pick up boat trips or ferry services to Brownsea Island, The Isle of Wight, The Channel Islands and France.
