St. Ives
A hidden gem, St. Ives couldn't be further away in style from its' Cornish cousin.
The 15th century bridge over the River Ouse has a little chapel half way across it which you can explore. It was once a tollhouse and has also been used as a shop, an inn and some even claim - a brothel!
Enjoy a pleasant stroll along the riverside or seek out the statue of Oliver Cromwell on Market Hill - he worked as a farmer here when he was young.
