    Felixstowe is best known as Britain's busiest and biggest container terminal but it has a very seaside town feel about it too. 
    The seafront is dominated by the Pier Bight - with the usual mix of restaurants, a leisure centre, gift shops and amusements. 
    Flowers are everywhere in this port - with displays providing a riot of colour from spring right through to autumn. 
    If you can tear yourself away from the pleasant seafront, head for some of the quieter coastal fishing villages like Felixstowe Ferry. 
    Or head for the peaceful beaches at The Dip and Brackenbury where you can just relax and escape the buzz of the main tourist centres.
