Bury St. Edmunds is a medieval market town which prides itself on being the heart of floral Suffolk.
Such is the effort they put into the floral decoration here that the town has been voted best floral town in East Anglia for five consecutive years.
The Abbey Gardens are filled with colourful displays but don't miss some of the indoor attractions - such as the Theatre Royal, the remains of Bury St Edmund's Abbey and the cathedral of St James.
The town has a popular annual arts festival in May and twice a weeks holds the largest street market in east Anglia.
For an unusual place for a pint stop at the Nutshell, said to be the smallest pub in Britain.
