Walworth Castle Hotel

Set in the rolling countryside of the Tees valley, just to the west of Darlington, this historic building dates from 1189 and is one of the few castle hotels in England.

Although the Castle is undoubtedly historical, the facilities are very much 21st century. We have 7 function rooms of various sizes which can accommodate your requirements, whether it be a conference, seminar or wedding celebration. On a sunny day, why not take a stroll in our 18 acres of lawns and woodlands? There is ample room for children to play on the lawns and there is a children's adventure climbing frame area. In the evening you can enjoy a relaxed carvery meal around the open fire or dine more formally in our award-winning restaurant.
