Harrabeer is rated Visit Britain 4-star guest accommodation, and holds an AA 4 Gold Star award, and was a finalist for the Landlady of Year 2002 award. This licensed country house has an attractive dining room, a gracious sitting room, and an open fire which burns on cooler evenings.
Conveniently located for outdoor activities in and around Dartmoor and a host of interesting places to visit, Harrabeer is only 5 miles from Tavistock (Market Town of the Year) and 9 miles from Plymouth for shopping, culture and nightlife.
The Harrabeer is run and managed by us, Michael and Amanda Willats: we aim to be as flexible as possible, to make your stay just the way you would like it.
We will cater for most dietary requirements, so please advise us of this. If you have an occasion to celebrate, please let us know and we will arrange any special ideas that you wish for, such as flowers. We will endeavour to give you personal service at all times.
We are now able to offer you a beauty therapy massage. Please contact us to arrange an appointment. Massages are available from 12:00 on Monday or from 17:45, Tuesday to Friday. Weekends are negotiable. 24 hours notice is required.
We are a Wi-Fi hotspot and you can use these facilities free of charge in our bar and in a couple of the bedrooms. We do not guarantee connection.

This bedroom is decorated in fashionable pale duck egg blue, with pine furniture, overlooking the pretty garden.
It has a generously sized shower and bidet, with a wonderfully inventive ceiling and fabulous fish-themed tiles.
If required, there is an inter-locking door with room 4 and a privacy door from the corridor that ideally makes for an independent family suite.
