The Royal Oak Inn

Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District, in the small village of Spark Bridge, nestled in the Crake Valley, this traditional inn offers comfortable en suite accommodation.

The Royal Oak Inn dates back to the 17th century and was originally built as a manager's house for the local bobbin mill. The inn has a wonderful traditional feel and the wood-panelled, fireside bar area offers a warm, homely environment. The lower lounge area is light and airy with an oak floor. There are 3 comfortable en suite rooms, each with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities. With its open fire, traditional ales and tasty home-cooked food, this warm, charming inn is a welcome haven after a day spent exploring the spectacular natural beauty of the Lake District. On a hot summer day, guests can sit and relax in the large beer garden. Once a month, the inn hosts an evening of live music, and every 2 weeks there is a popular quiz night.
