Our old Victorian family farmhouse has been in the Wemyss family for 4 generations, is over 150 years old and gives the feel of a true old Scottish home. We are not a hotel and wish to let guests know this before they visit. We enjoy offering a personal service, and hope you enjoy visiting us. We are set in a tranquil location just 7 miles from St Andrews; the home of golf. We supply superb luxury bed and breakfast accommodation for weekend breaks, golf breaks and family breaks, as well as golf tours, sightseeing tours and tourist visits. After your day out, you are welcome to relax in the drawing room where you can read the paper, play a board game, or even play a tune on our piano. Kirkton Barns is a 4-star bed and breakfast run by James Wemyss, a younger member of the Wemyss family. James has worked in many hotels behind the scenes as a chef. He now wants to work out the front and enjoys running the bed and breakfast and a chauffeur tour business. Double Room
