A quality, good value Italian with a long-standing reputation, Zia Teresa is well worth knowing about. This is especially true if you work or play in Knightsbridge, are a figure-conscious Harrods shopper or enjoy dining among a sophisticated international crowd. Dynamic head chef Pietro is constantly supplementing Zia Teresa's à la carte menu with a selection of house specialties such as Fettuccine della Zia - fresh pasta and mushrooms tossed in cream and sprinkled with gently grilled parmesan. Light, healthy options include a starter of grilled aubergines, courgettes, mushrooms and sweet peppers marinated in olive oil, garlic and parsley. In total, Zia Teresa can seat 120 guests, or hold around 80 reception-style, for a wide range of events including parties, corporate functions, cocktail parties, product launches, private dinners and even small weddings. Areas can be sectioned for more intimate groups. Canapé menus cost £15 and £30 per head. The chef is also happy to design bespoke menus for your event including a sit-down lunch or dinner, tasting, canapé or buffet menu. A dedicated events co-ordinator will help you with just about everything. Open from midday seven days a week.
