Surrounded (if not directly overlooking) by 176 acres of Hampshire parkland, the cosy Winchester is Botley Park's fine dining restaurant. Most evenings, its modern burgundy, cream and mahogany interior is comfortably filled with international golf and spa guests relaxing to a background of classical music. The a la carte menu promises seasonal Modern British and European dishes such as Seared diver scallops served on a herb spaghetti with sauce vierge whist for main course enjoy Seared filet of Scotch beef served with asparagus and a braised oxtail charlotte or grilled John Dory filet on a bed of spinach and brown shrimp butter and what could be more perfect than Vanilla panna cotta with warm strawberries and cracked black pepper to complete the perfect meal. Service is friendly and efficient.

The Winchester Restaurant has been awarded its first AA rosette.

Parties of 10+ choose from table d'hote menus. Bespoke also available. Private dining offered in the Hawthorn Suite. Wines range from excellent New World bottles to classic vintages. The adjoining Gallery Bar suits aperitifs and nightcaps.
