Pamphylia Restaurant means colourful lanterns, hanging gourds, 'magic' lamps and unusual small arched windows -- it goes a significant way towards creating a beautifully warm feel in this Muswell Hill Mediterranean. For a posh-looking place, Pamphylia prices its menu very reasonably; the most you'll be charged is £6.50 for a casserole. It specialises in pide, a traditional Anatolian dish that's bit like an open calzone, skillfully shaped from a small ball of dough to produce a crispy outer crust. You choose the filling; minced lamb, and spinach and goats cheese are popular. Best eaten with the hands.

The best seats are in the middle, where up to 10 people can sit. 20 can eat at the back. A la carte available for 15 max. Above that, and you're offered a set menu. There's a big, beautiful bar, though most people drink at their tables. International wine list, plus (mainly classic) cocktails.
