The Oakwood Restaurant at The Park Resort near Bath has it all - gorgeous setting, remarkable dining room, superb cooking and sublime service. The dining room is a former Masonic lodge retains its stone walls, vaulted ceilings and carved paneling as well as intriguing stone carvings. Executive Chef Mark Treasure - by name and by nature - has earned a pair of rosettes for his inventive British menu making notable use of a restored 1950's Molteni oven. The crudités and herb-roasted fish dishes are locally famous. Yet the ambience is relaxed and informal.
