People love The French Table. The high level and complexity of cooking would not be out of place in a West End eaterie, and it is treasured by loyal clientele. The dining room is smart and intimate, a grownup place for the proper enjoyment of food, with a particularly warm welcome. The cuisine is French/Mediterranean and the menu changes often. A recent menu featured starter of mille-feuille of panfried foie gras with jerusalem artichoke and port dressing, main course of roast plaice with leek tatin, fresh crab with vin jaune sauce, and pudding of chocolate moelleux with vanilla ice cream. Cheeses are beautifully kept.

A wonderful place for birthday and anniversary celebrations as well as business entertaining, The French Table is a smart, sophisticated, and intimate restaurant with a very serious kitchen. There is no private room, but groups up to 15 will be seated in the dining room or the entire venue can be hired, seating up to 60. The French/Mediterranean menu includes dishes like starter of pumpkin soup with goats cheese and pistou, main course of pan fried beef bavette with truffle mash, wild mushrooms and madeira sauce, and pudding of gingerbread pain perdu with caramelised pear.
