Hungerford's Cygnet restaurant has grasped on to the idea of the organic movement with both hands and made a real success of combining sophisticated dining with eco-friendly ideals. For that real get-away-from-it-all experience Cygnet couldn't be better, offering a countryside idyll in the shape of a gorgeously executed barn conversion. Bare wood beams cut in to white washed walls while rustic accessories really add to that bucolic charm. The menu meanwhile is created seasonally using fine organic ingredients, many supplied by the restaurant's own farm in Inkpen. Alongside traditional English dishes you'll find more imaginative twists plucked from across the globe to be enjoyed with a bottle from the exclusively organic wine list.

The Cygnet's intimate thirty seater dining room is just the place for an eco-aware gathering, whether it's a birthday party or wedding breakfast, including good food (provided by them) and good company (that one's down to you). A private dining room with space for twelve is also available.
