Ok, so Berkshire may not be the first place you'd expect to find award winning seafood but bear with us. Who cares if the nearest wave and pebble is more than forty miles away from The Crab at Chieveley. When you bite in to your first dish here you'll swear you can hear the sea lapping against the shore. A beautifully appointed dining room is by turns quaint and modern - country house meets local bistro meets seaside shack. But the food, created by chefs with Michelin experience using fine fresh fish from Looe, Brixham and Newlyn, is the real star. Dishes are simple, letting stunning ingredients and perfect techniques speak for themselves. Pure seafood heaven.
