The comfortable, contemporary Aiolis restaurant is in the Holiday Inn Garforth, in a peaceful countryside setting on the outskirts of Leeds - a great base for exploring not only Leeds itself but also Harrogate, York and the lovely Yorkshire Dales. Aiolis serves simple, well-cooked favourites both classic and modern, as well as a choice of healthy, lighter dishes. Start with marinated bocconcini - little mozzarella balls with olives and cherry tomatoes on a rosemary croûte - then try lamb bourguignon with garlic mash or, from the healthy mains choices, steamed salmon with asparagus, sun-blushed tomatoes and dill on pasta.
