This friendly family- run bed and breakfast is situated 3 minutes’ level walk from Paignton's sandy beach and town centre, and 5 minutes’ walk from the bus and train station.

Catering for families, couples and singles wanting a break in the country, the Haldon Guest House is open all year round for one night stays, weekend breaks and longer stays. It is ideally placed for all that Paignton has to offer, including water-sports and fishing at the harbour. Torbay is known as ' The English Riviera', which boasts a diversity of atmosphere, entertainment and amenities for all ages, surrounded by scenic countryside. We cater for families, couples and singles wanting a break in the country, from one night stays and weekend breaks to longer stays. We are open all year. We welcome contractors and business travellers. Wedding parties, hen or stag parties will need to be booked in advance. We can provide flowers and chocolates or champagne / wine and chocolates, delivered to your room or on arrival (at an additional cost).

Each room has been designed with the family in mind. There is a colour TV, books and toys for the younger children. An en suite bathroom includes a shower and baby changing facilities and a baby travel cot can be provided with blankets on request. A small fridge can be provided on request, and complimentary tea/coffee is included. Towels are provided. The maximum occupancy for this room is ideally 2 adults and 2 children, or 4 adults. There is room to add a single futon for an extra child or adult if needed, at a reduced price. The number of children, along with their age should be provided in the request box during the booking process.

This large double room has a super king-size bed and is ideal for a couple wanting a cosy weekend or celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary. The room has a TV with Freeview digital channels, a mini-fridge, a water dispenser, a vanity unit and pine furniture. Towels are provided. You can arrange for flowers/champagne and chocolates to be in the room when you arrive. The 3 double rooms ( as well as a single room) on the top floor share a shower/toilet room. These rooms are ideal for families or small parties of people.
