The land on which Mansfield Castle sits dates from November 1772 and changed hands several times before it passed to George Murray, Merchant of Tain, in October 1801 and from then on became known as Mansfield.
The hotel is comprised of 19 sumptuous bedrooms which have stunning views over the castle grounds, the Moray Firth to the south-east and the Dornoch Firth to the north-east.
Each spacious room has its own unique character and features a complimentary decanter of sherry.
