New Inn Hotel

The New Inn, situated a few miles away from Settle, is an 18th century coaching inn that has been lovingly and carefully restored to offer quality accommodation.

Set in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park, this hotel offers high standards of accommodation at affordable prices and is ideal for visiting many places such as the Lake District, Leeds and Lancaster, or enjoy a trip on the Settle/ Carlisle Railway. In the Main Bar can be seen a collection of caving cartoons by Jim Eyre, one of the local early cave explorers. In the Lounge Bar are many tapestries all made by Barbara and several ‘New Inn’ themed cartoons by Lakes cartoonist Ken Mosley. The restaurant has original paintings, several having a West Riding industrial theme. The proprietor's lifelong interest in cycling, caving and running is reflected in many of the numerous photographs and prints which can be seen around the building.
