Swallow Three Tuns Hotel

Dating back to the 16th Century, the delightful Three Tuns Hotel is filled with charm and character. Located in the heart of historic Durham, the hotel retains an atmosphere reminiscent of yesteryear.

Stained glass ceilings, oak panelling throughout, real Tudor beams, original wood carvings and open fireplaces are just a few of the many character features within this friendly and popular hotel. Step out of the hotel and you will find yourself in the heart of Durham City, with attractive streets filled with shops, cobbled alleys, Medieval lanes and Georgian and Victorian architecture. By day, the hotel's lounge provides the perfect location to enjoy a light snack or relaxing drink.
