Information for GroupsIf you're taking a few of your fortunate friends to Monkey Chews, may we recommend that you waste no time in getting right into the swing of things. Start with something stiff from the bar, like the Memory Loss, made from... erm... what was it? Ah yes: Red Bull and absinthe. Dance a little. Smile a lot. Make new friends. Then get another round in. Simple really. There's live music or DJ's most nights, so chill or party, the choice is yours. However, if you want a private slice of Monkey Chews away from the main action, you could hire the Raphael Silver Cloud Lounge (it'd be worth it just to print the name on the invitation, wouldn't it?) You could go the whole hog (or should that be ape?), and hire the portable Oyster Bar too. Either way, you're on a winner. Photos from around the area

Snuggled up on a North London residential lap is Monkey Chews - a kinda special fancy-free restaurant and bar held dear by those who love nothing more than really, really relaxing on a night out. From the
womb-like décor to the posterior-loving chairs, everything about Monkey Chews is homely. Hand in hand with this all-out comfort comes the familiar British
food, served in the restaurant tucked away at the back of the bar. The menu reads likes your belly's best buddy list: spit-roast chicken with garlic and vegetable mash, steamed mussels in a garlic, cream and
white wine sauce, a dozen native rock oysters served with lemon, tabasco sauce (washed down with a pint of the black stuff?). Word of advice: make sure you and
your guest(s) don't have other plans for the evening. Unless, of course, they involve chilling out right here, right now, and for a wee while longer...
