Staindrop Classic HotelI Like It...
| Staindrop Lodge
Bathrooms, modem points and satellite tv. Spa baths are also available in executive rooms. The lively Brasserie Restaurant and Bar is open all day serving freshly prepared, imaginative cuisine by chefs with experience from the Ivy and Gordon Ramsey, and in a stylish, relaxed environment with a buzzing, friendly atmosphere. Great location for Meadowhall shopping centre, the business district and Sheffield's football stadiums, theatres, universities and cathedrals. For a great day out, the Peak District National Park and Chatsworth House are an easy drive away. Staindrop Lodge was built in 1806 by Geprge Newton who named it after the village of Staindrop in County Durham where he was born. September 2002 saw Staindrop Lodge reopen after more than two years of major building refurbishment work. Now a landmark bar, brasserie and hotel, influenced by art-deco design movement, we have created a quality of service and an informal, comfortable ambience is a paramount prerequisite.
