Traditional Country Inn located 6 miles south-east of Ayr town centre, just off the A77, 10 minutes from Ayr. Ideal centre for golfing, fishing, touring or business.

Good value accommodation with an excellent restaurant and the choice of 3 bars, including the Malt Whisky Room. Night Porter is on hand for late arrivals or early starts. With staff qualified in customer care we can easily live up to our motto 'There are no strangers here, only friends who have never met!' Maximum enjoyment with minimum effort. For 100 years this picturesque inn has provided Scottish hospitality. Hamish and Vicki Mackinnon and their friendly team continue to promote the inn's motto, 'There are no strangers here, only friends who have never met!' It is hard to find an establishment where you can feel so easily at home. An excellent restaurant and because all dishes are prepared to order, special diets are easily catered for. With wonderful cuisine pleasantly served, a Malt Room with a good selection of whiskies and an impressive range of good value accommodation, you cannot go wrong. Just put the car in the car park and unwind. It is in the country, yet Ayr's racecourse, golf courses and superb fishing are on the doorstep. Staying here allows you maximum enjoyment with minimum effort. Please ask if you require a smoking or non-smoking room. We also have conference facilities, board room style facilities, meeting room and business catering. There is entertainment some nights.
