The AA 4-star Wellwood House is a Victorian manor house set in 2 acres of secluded gardens in central Pitlochry, with stunning views down the Vale of Atholl and of Ben Vrachie.
Originally built in around 1881, the house is surrounded by tranquil private gardens with a reed-bordered stream and a pond. Red squirrels, roe deer, moorhens, and wild ducks regularly take up residence in the gardens.
Centrally situated and yet secluded, the hotel is a peaceful, serene base from which to explore the central Highlands of Scotland. You can choose a romantic tower bedroom or one of the keenly priced standard or family rooms. In the evenings, you can relax in the guest library, with its unique honesty bar. Wellwood House has been received an AA 4-star guest house award in June 2004 and a Scottish Tourist Board 4-star guest house award in June 2005.
