Denbighshire is home of one of the biggest events in the Welsh calendar - the Eisteddfod Musical Festival.

It's held in the small market town of Llangollen every July where up to 100,000 people flock to hear choirs, singers, folk groups and musicians from all over the world compete to be the best.

This unassuming market town with its' castle backdrop was where renowned tenor Placido Domingo gave his first professional performance and Pavarotti has also performed there.
