Fife was once an ancient Pictish kingdom, who were the native people of Scotland. These days Fife is probably best known for its' golf and dead kings. Fife is the home of the famous St. Andrews golf course and also where you'll find seven Scottish kings who are buried at Dunfermline Abbey.
St. Andrews is also the home to the oldest of the Scottish Universities and the ideal place to base a trip to the Kingdom of Fife.
But don't miss out a trip around the coast, stopping at some of the wonderful fishing villages like Crail, Anstruther and Pittenweem, with their tiny cottages and harbourside views of the North Sea.
