Oban is a busy tourist town in the county of Argyll and Bute.
Life centres around the busy harbour , where you can cruise around on a boat, jump on a RIB in search of seals and whales or catch a ferry to nearby Mull or the Western Isles.
The skyline of Oban is dominated by an amphitheatre (pictured above). The amphitheatre isn’t Roman however. So how did it get there; we aren't telling :-)
Also present in Oban on the waterfront is the distillery and a visitor attraction where you can find out about the manufacture of Scotalnd’s famous export – Caithness glass. |
