Just north of Warwick is Kenilworth, home to one of England's most romantic ruin Kenilworth Castle. It was here that Queen Elizabeth I was lavishly entertained by her favourite, Robert Dudley. The castle is now a huge in glowing red sandstone ruin, that reveals a past rich with the famous names and historic events.

The castle oftern hosts evening outdoor classical and contemporary concerts, and is a mecca for all local residents for the amazing firework displays on Bonfire Night.

Kenilworth also sports an excellent choice of restaurants and small shops that are a favourite with visitors and locals alike.
