    Sussex is home to some of Britain's best loved seaside resorts, including the king of them all, Brighton. 
    For sheer fun Brighton is hard to beat, with beaches, amusements on the pier and the grandeur of the Royal Pavilion. 
    Less manic is Eastbourne, just along the south coast or for a real good old fashioned bucket and spade holiday try the Butlins camp at Bognor Regis.
    Sussex is also '1066 country' - the scene of a battle which changed the course of English history. 
    Head for Hastings to find out all about history or drive away from the coast to explore market towns like East Grinstead or Arundel.
